Students light up when describing the ways in which enhanced funding would change their experience. They truly understand the impact that gifts have and it reminds me firsthand why I encourage Sea Gulls to give back.
What is Giving Day?
Salisbury University Giving Day 2021 is a one-day fundraising drive. For the past three years, SU Giving Day is a day for alumni, parents, students, faculty and staff, and friends from all over the world to come together to give back and celebrate what they care about at SU. Giving Day encourages gifts of all sizes and participation from the entire SU community and directs their gifts toward the area of their choice.
Why is Giving Day different than any other day? Thanks to generous donors, every gift on Giving Day helps earn bonus funds for SU schools and colleges, teams, and programs. In other words, every gift made on Giving Day makes an even bigger impact. There are also special one-time challenges that give areas at SU the chance to compete for additional matching funds. You make a huge difference when you give to SU. And for 24 hours on Giving Day, your gift can do even more. See you this April 6, 2021.

Giving Day Helps Students Continue Research
Last year’s Giving Day funds supported student Peter Kim's attendance at the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology conference in Orlando, FL. He presented his research for the first time in a national setting, gained experience and connected with leading researchers in the field. Donations also supported the Biology Seminar Series, which allows students an inside look at different realms of the scientific world.
