Entrepreneurship & Business

Our programs recently were reaccredited by AACSB, the highest standard for business schools worldwide. This affirms the quality of our faculty, staff and students and recognizes our commitment to delivering an excellent business education.

Franklin P. Perdue School of Business

The reputation of the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business begins with our students. We build knowledge through experience. We are committed to providing the highest level of business education, and we also understand the importance of experiential learning. We empower students to become successful contributors in global and dynamic environments by equipping them to apply what they have learned both inside and outside the classroom. The Perdue School offers a comprehensive curriculum with eight undergraduate majors and online, full- and part-time M.B.A. options to suit working individuals.

Did you know that our students compete nationally and internationally in experiential competitions, earn SAP and Bloomberg certifications, and have stood on the New York Stock Exchange trading floor? They pitched ideas to ABC’s Shark Tank during casting calls in our Perdue Hall. And, they move their entrepreneurial ideas to reality through our three-decade-old student competitions and other entrepreneurship initiatives, which award some $300,000 annually to support business start-ups. Perdue students enhance the knowledge gained in our classroom through real-world experiences to launch their careers and drive their visions.

Campaign Priorities & Initiatives

Through the Campaign for Salisbury University, the Perdue School of Business seeks to:

  • Create a named Professional Development Program to provide career coaching, career services, employer outreach and internship opportunities. This will ensure that our students are able to leave SU with the best opportunities to succeed in the local and national job market.
  • Name the Mid-Atlantic Sales and Marketing Institute, our research and academic center for professional selling. MASMI has five signature events: Professional Selling Thursdays speaker series, Internship and Job Fair, Etiquette Dinner, Elevator Pitch Competition, and its Sales Championship. The number of students, faculty and affiliated corporate organizations has grown tremendously in a short time, and this would support MASMI operations into the future.
